The Kingdoms environment

Once a peaceful and creative kingdom full of geniuses of all arts, Amarillias used to be the hot spot for everyone and everything that wished to indulge in creative crafts. Whether it was Music or Art. All was welcome within Amarillias and greatly supported by the royal family. 

Even the scientific creative minds found support here when they would find none in any of the other kingdoms. 

Though as of recent years under the rule of a king far to young, creative thinking has become punishable with a fate worse than death. The paranoid's king mad violin playing the only music to be heard nowadays within the kingdom. 

Notable Areas

Seirou

The capital of Amarillias and by far the quietest of all settlements within the kingdom. It is covered in crystalic growths that hum the violin songs of the King most times. Other than that most if not all of this large city has grown silent. Only hushed whispers and shuffles of it's inhabitants can be heard.

The center of Amarilias and the home of the continents royalty within the capital. This castle is surrounded by crystallic growths, making it difficult to invade unnoticed. The only save passage into the castle being a bridge that connects it with the capital.The castle as a whole has an almost sterile and timeless look to it.

Festivals and Rituals

Frostfire Festival

The Frostfire Festival is a celebration of the beauty and danger of ice and snow. The festival takes place over three days and nights, during which participants compete in ice-skating races, build ice sculptures, and perform feats of skill and strength on frozen lakes and mountainsides. At night, the festival grounds are illuminated by hundreds of torches and lanterns, and performers put on dazzling displays of fire juggling and fireworks.

Crystal Carnival

The festival takes place in Blissarie ,glittering crystals, and intricate snowflakes adorning every surface. Visitors can watch enchanted ice dancers, marvel at ice dragons soaring overhead, and try their hand at spellcasting in a magical ice maze. The climax of the festival is a spectacular ice-dance competition, where the fairest couple wins a crown of crystals.

Nature of Amarilias

Amarillias has always been within a perpetual state of winter. Due to it's location and it's strange crystalic core it's temperatures never reached above the 10°c. Often remaining just below freezing point. Though despite the low temperatures, plant life and the creatures inhabiting this continent have adabted and are now thriving within the cold. 

Amongst them are rare plants such a shiver flowers and crystalic clovers that are often used as herbs for potions to mend burns. 

 

As part of it's intricate and fascinating nature is the large network of caverns and crystalic growths throughout the whole kingdom. It is believed that the crystals stitch together the many island like structures as one with it's very core residing with Ripplia castle in the capital of Seirou. The crystal are able to transmit sound produced by Midrills and has been used as such to play melodies of all kind. Though nowadays the only melody heard through the crystals is the soothing yet strangely hypnotic violin playing of the king himself.

Royal Family of Amarilias

The royal family of Amarilias has known many historical individuals. A few of them being Sanctum vi' Amarilias, Haiso vi' Amarilias and Gaisia vi'Amarillias.

The royal family has been known to be involved in multiple scandals surrounding the infidelity of some kings and queens. Most notably the past King Osha vi' Amarilias, who did not care for his wife the moment doctors have revealed that she would not be able to give him a child due to a tear within her womb. 

Lario vi'Amarilias

Current King | Alive | 18 years old

Lario is known as the youngest King as of the kingdoms whole history. He was adopted into the family by King Osha due to his likeness to the king. He grew up as a very sickly child that was scorned by his adoptive mother for his hybrid blood which consisted of Amarilian and Arkadian blood.

He now rules with a cold smile and a strict regiment to protect his people. He avoid all conflict and tends to take those into custody that speak of things he does not like.

Sanctum vi' Amarilias

Past Prince | Revived Demon | 300+

Sanctum vi' Amarilias is known to this day as a scientific genius and historical scribe that often dabbled in the mysteries of the past. He is a genius and a masterful teacher of history and ailments that he has investigated and catalogued thoroughly. 

Though for all of his glory, he has blackened himself by digging through the gravesites of his ancestors for answers on a long past mystery.

Haiso vi' Amarilias

Past Queen | Dead | 18 years old

Osha vi' Amarilias

Past King | Deceased | 47 years at death

King Osha was known as a man of the women. He loved to drink and to surround himself in many women. One of which he married to have a child with. Though once he found out that she was unable to give him a child, he attempted to have one with a noble woman from Balestra. Seeing as the child looked nothing like him though he had the child abandoned within the desert.

He chose to take in an orphaned child instead that resembled his own likeness more. This child being Lario.
